There will be free pizza on both days!

Researchers have very different experiences across the University but are united by their love of learning and the often-precarious career paths they tread in pursuit of that passion. Join researchers across all three faculties of the University to discuss and hear about career progression, multidisciplinary collaboration, research practice and research culture, all over some delectable free lunches and refreshments!

RENU is an event created by researchers for researchers (and anyone else interested) with the following aims:

1. Connect researchers across the three faculties of the University and exchange ideas and best practice.

2. Discuss how the University is supporting researchers and how it could advance this even further

3. Establish ‘The Researcher Network’, independent from but supported by the University, which will be an informal space for researchers to feed informations and solutions up and down faculties and feed into university policies.

Before even officially beginning, The Researcher Network has already made significant impacts to the representation of researchers across multiple academic groups. By directly feeding into University initiatives, we have a brilliant opportunity to give researchers a voice, a platform and all the support needed.

We did mention the free pizza already too, didn’t we?!

We’re looking forward to seeing you in August!
