NU 2022 Engagement and Place Awards: The Shortlist!

Dear all,

We are delighted to announce that a number of colleagues within the School have been shortlisted in the NU 2022 Engagement and Place Awards!

These awards recognise and celebrate great examples of collaboration between the University and its partners and the public.

Dr Marwa Elnahass is shortlisted for the Established Career Academic Award with her Green Finance/COP26 Policy Paper: Voluntary Carbon Markets in ASEAN: Challenges and Opportunities for Scaling Up.

We are also involved in two of the three Vice-Chancellor and President Awards. The Creative Fuse North East team (led by Professor Jonathan Sapsed) is shortlisted as well as the Arrow programme. Whilst the Arrow programme is led centrally, the Business School has one of the largest portfolios of Arrow projects across the whole university, working with a number of SMEs across the North East.

Congratulations to all involved.

Professor Natasha Mauthner,
Director of Research
